Cost of Accessing the Australian Schizophrenia Research Bank

Cost Recovery

A system of cost recovery that reflects the costs involved in processing applications and providing data, samples and research participants now needs to be applied to all researchers accessing the Bank.

The following costs are associated with each component of the application process:

• Application Fee: $265
• Research Participants: $355 + $1.20/participant contacted
• Clinical Data: $155 + $6.60/participant
• Genetic Samples: $300 + $5.00/sample
• MRI/DTI Data: $150 + $4.00/participant

Fees exclude GST.
Researchers are also responsible for shipping costs.
ASRB Chief Investigators will receive a 20% reduction in cost recovery fees.
